Care Program for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly

Meeting the needs of people with disabilities and the elderly

Current progress

Budget
USD 280,000

Project scope

Given the absence of any active institution in the town of Al-Shuyukh dedicated to serving persons with disabilities—a group numbering approximately 662 individuals (or 5.7% of the town's 13,000-strong population) based on the broad definition of disability—it became essential for the Al-Shuyukh Municipality to help establish the nucleus of an organization specialized in addressing the needs and issues of this demographic, which requires greater attention and ongoing support.
