Project scope
The program aims to improve the quality of transportation services within the town and enhance accessibility and ease of movement between its various areas due to their significant developmental importance. The town currently suffers from weaknesses in both its internal and external road and transportation networks.
The local community actively cooperates with the municipality in opening and constructing new roads. In addition, there is an unpaved agricultural road network serving the eastern areas of the town to support the ongoing urban expansion in those locations. The total length of these roads is estimated at approximately 25 km. However, the town still lacks a properly developed and qualified access route.
Furthermore, many of the roads proposed in the structural plan have yet to be implemented and require urgent execution to prevent encroachment through violations and unauthorized developments that may obstruct their construction. In addition, several road alignments included in the structural plan are impractical and require further study and modification to ensure they serve the public interest effectively
