Al-Shyoukh Sports Club is a Palestinian sports, cultural, and social institution located in Al-Shyoukh town, Hebron Governorate, in the West Bank. The club plays a key role in developing the capacities of local youth, organizing sports activities, and providing empowerment and awareness programs in cooperation with local and international organizations.
Sports and Scouting Activities:
The club hosts multiple sports teams, most notably the football team, in addition to organizing tournaments in other sports such as chess, table tennis, and volleyball. It also supervises dedicated sports fields for local matches and training sessions.
The club continuously organizes free training courses for youth aged 17 to 37 years to prepare them for the labor market. These trainings include freelancing, business development, and employment skills in cooperation with the Youth Development Resource Center and supporting organizations.
Community and Awareness Initiatives:
The club implements community campaigns to promote a safe educational environment and combat bullying, such as the "Your Kindness is Strength" campaign in partnership with the Palestinian Vision Organization and Save the Children International. It also coordinates with Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) to conduct workshops focused on mental health.
Social Inclusion:
The club pays special attention to children with disabilities by organizing interactive, recreational, and sports activities to integrate them into society and raise awareness of their needs, in cooperation with QADER for Community Development.
Summer Camps and Cultural Activities:
The club regularly organizes summer camps for children and young participants (such as Al-Zahraat camps) with the aim of developing artistic talents, preserving Palestinian heritage, and promoting authentic Palestinian folklore.
